Summary

As a lifelong educator and development professional, I strive to provide the very best for my organization and everyone I serve — students, colleagues, board members and prospective new clients. My diverse multi-cultural life experience has fostered my ability to easily connect and build rapport with people of all ages and backgrounds. Having taught in a variety of educational settings for the past 22 years, I am able to adapt to the specific needs of the student body that I teach. I have taught at the university level as well as private and public schools, after school programs, churches, and music schools. I have engaged my students in the art of music performance, scholarship and personal expression through the art of vocal and piano performance, as well as the study of theory, composition, improvisation and carefully and sequentially selected repertoire. I believe the best teachers are those who put their heart and soul into the development of their students and themselves. Teaching has honed my ability to effectively communicate, understand individual needs and make personal connections that help to further each student's journey of personal growth and development.
