With a colleague, I was involved in the assembly of photovoltaic panels. Our engineers provided the mechanic layouts and electrical schematics that we followed to build the whole panel, starting from the frames, electronic components, wiring and the doors for the panels. I developed solid wiring skills and became proficient with using various tools like pliers wire strippers, wrenches.
Then I acquired skills in assembling batteries used to power control panels for electric vehicle charging stations. As an international company headquartered in Taiwan, we regularly received clients from around the world who came to inspect our products. This give me the opportunity to strengthen my communication skills by explaining the function of our products.
I used to program electronic boards intended to become GPS trackers for vehicles like cars, helicopters, boats and trailers. I would place the electronic board on a workbench and connect it to the computer using a cable to start the programming process. The whole programming process takes from 8 to 10 minutes. Once the process was completed, one of my colleagues carried out the testing of the boards. Around 50 boards were completed per day. If an electronic board was defective, it was returned to the supplier, that was a company based in China.
Our company had many clients who came to see the product before purchasing it, and I had to explain how it worked so I developed strong customer communication skills.
